Logo
The logo is the visual starting point of any brand identity. It must be used very carefully, paying special attention to consistency. Rules for handling the logo and its colour are defined below to ensure consistent graphic quality in all media.
Protection space & aspect ratio
Protection space ensures a prominent position in the respective layout and must not be infringed by any other elements.
The clear space surrounding the logo is defined as half the height of the logo.
This space is maintained in all directions – vertically and horizontally.
The proportional relationship between the width and height of the DEHN logo is 4 to 1. This ratio must not be changed. It may only be scaled for use proportionally, but not compressed or stretched.
Variations
The logo comes in the colour variants DEHN red and white/no colour. They are used against the respective complementary backgrounds: DEHN red on a white background and DEHN white on a red background. In exceptional cases, the white logo variation only may be used on a calm photographic or coloured background. The clear space rules must be followed whatever the application.
